How is Bantai Civet Coffee made?


Bantai Civet Coffee is grown organically in the forest covered mountains of Ifugao Province in the Philippines . Our shade grown Robusta coffee is harvested by wild civets which inhabit the surrounding rainforest. The sweetest, ripest, and largest of all coffee berries are picked by the civets, giving the coffee a natural and meticulous quality control.  When the coffee berries are swallowed by this “animal coffee farmer,” the beans are left unchewed, undigested, and fermented into a unique and delicious coffee bean, left behind on the forest floor, giving you the rarest and most sought after coffee in the world. The coffee beans are gathered from the forest floor by Ifugao farmers, cleaned and shipped directly to Bantai Civet Coffee in the United States, where it is custom roasted only after your order is received.  You get this rare, gourmet coffee product freshly roasted in days, not weeks, from your order placement.
